The FISH Philosophy
Welcome friends to Florida Sports, Orthopaedic & Spine Medicine (FSOSM). We take the responsibility of your care very seriously. Through the FISH Philosophy, our doctors and staff uniquely carry out our commitment to customer service.
While in our care you'll notice signs of FISH on our clothing, or in our departments and hallways. The FISH philosophy is much more than an outward sign - it's a personal decision, a moment when, as employees, we make a conscious choice to have (1) a positive attitude while at work. While serving in our environmet, we also strive (2) to be present...to be focused and aware of each circumstance or situation we encounter, and look upon our work as an opportunity to serve our patients. Here at FSOSM, we are priviledged to serve our customers/patients.
As a patient, you are the primary customer... and yet, the moment we take on your care as a patient, we have many more customers - your loved ones, extended family & friends! The third (3) principle of the FISH philosophy is to make your day. We can reach his goal by discerning your needs and working diligently to provide for them in the best ways possible.
Finally, as health care providers we spend more waking hours together than we spend with our own families. While we are working together for your care, we also to find approriate ways to play and bring joy to each day. We hope that as our patient, you will find measurable joy in our workplace. FSOSM is made up of humans. We are not perfect and yet we strive for perfection. If for some reason you are not totally satisfied, please let us know.
